I really want to like this band but I don’t think I get the hype. I’m ok with the instrumental, but the vocals don’t do it for me.

Dude, this review is just so on point with how I feel. Like, not only with this album but with the band as a whole. Blueprints? Banger. Deadweight? Banger and probably my favorite from them. Pressure? Mid and the new direction was being taken. Manic? For me, an uptick from Pressure but with songs I’d skip. But this? Holy fuck, this is the worst, most uninspired collection of songs they have ever released. Just add em to the list with Architects, Parkway Drive, and The Ghost Inside because we’re probably done getting quality metal releases from them.

My favorite breakdown has to be dehumanization by Meshuggah "One syllable, one vowel: AAAAAAAAAA"
